It's official — the Saskatchewan Roughriders have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
Edmonton's 40-20 victory over Montreal on Monday was the final nail in the coffin for the team, which is in last place in its division with a record of four wins and 10 losses.
While it was a dismal season for the most part, the Riders have been on a streak lately, having won the last three games in a row.
The 2016 season continues with the next game Oct. 15 in Toronto against the Argos.
After that, it'll be the last two home games ever to be played at old Mosaic Stadium. The Riders move to the new Mosaic Stadium in 2017.
