Saskatchewan hires 2nd forensic pathologist

Saskatchewan is is adding another forensic pathologist to help improve death investigation services.

Saskatchewan is adding another forensic pathologist to help improve death investigation services.

The office of the chief coroner says it conducted an extensive national and international search.

Dr. Andreea Nistor has been hired.

She'll start the job on July 18 and will be based in Regina. According to the provincial government, the salary for the new forensic pathologist will be $25,933 per month or $311,196 annually.

There is currently a chief forensic pathologist based in Saskatoon.
