Employment in Saskatchewan was little changed in March, but the province experienced the strongest year-over-year growth in the country, Statistics Canada says.
According to StatsCan's monthly Labour Force Survey, 25,700 jobs were created in Saskatchewan between March 2012 and March 2013 — a 4.9 per cent increase.
The unemployment rate (seasonally adjusted) was 3.9 per cent in March, a slight increase from the 3.8 per cent in February, but still the lowest among all provinces.
