Round two: Roughriders bring back quarterback Kevin Glenn
Glenn came into the CFL with the Riders in 2001
After 10 years playing for several CFL teams, Kevin Glenn is returning to the franchise that brought him into the league.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed the veteran quarterback on Thursday afternoon.
Glenn spent last season with the B.C. Lions. The upcoming season will be his 15th in the CFL.
Last season, Glenn started 17 games in B.C. with starting quarterback Travis Lulay injured. The 35-year-old passed for 3,918 yards, 17 touchdowns, and completed 63 per cent of passes.
Glenn first played with the Riders in 2001. He left Saskatchewan after the 2003 season to join the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Glenn also made stops in Hamilton and Calgary before joining the Lions last season.
The Detroit, Michigan product is currently 10th in all-time touchdown passes.
The Riders also signed Canadian offensive lineman Gord Hinse. The 27-year-old spent last season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
