The CFL season is still about seven months away, but the Saskatchewan Roughriders are already preparing to say goodbye to their home.

The 2016 season will be the last at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field. The Roughriders have called that field home for more than 100 years.

In 2017, the new Mosaic Stadium down the block is expected to be completed and ready to host the team.

The team is holding a news conference at 12:30 p.m. CST Wednesday afternoon to provide more details.

Riders President and CEO Craig Reynolds and special guests are expected to be on hand for the commemorative announcement.

More to come.
