Roughriders announce Mosaic Stadium farewell season festivities
The Riders will play their final regular season game at Mosaic Stadium on Oct. 29
After a century on the same field, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are planning a grand farewell to Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field.
On Tuesday, the team announced it will pay tribute to the countless memories created at Mosaic Stadium.
- Farewell to an era: Mosaic Stadium's final season begins
- Mosaic Stadium seats to be donated to arenas around Saskatchewan
- Sign goes up at Regina's new Mosaic Stadium
Each home game will be devoted to historic themes and will focus on a specific decade in Roughrider history.
A Fan Fest pregame featuring music from Riders history and alumni autograph sessions will be held before each home game.
On June 30, the team will host a pregame kickoff party in Regina's City Plaza and Victoria Park from noon to 4 p.m. CST.
This year also marks a special anniversary for Roughrider fans. On July 16, the team will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of Saskatchewan's first Grey Cup victory in 1966. There the Riders will welcome back and honour members of the championship team.

"[Oct. 29] will be a very emotional day for everyone," Saskatchewan Roughriders President and CEO Craig Reynolds said in a news release. "It will be a game that fans won't want to miss."
