Riders launch special edition jersey in new green shade
Brand new 'Rider Blitz' lime green colour, Saskatchewan emblazoned across the front
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have revealed a new special edition jersey in a brand new colour on the team's website.
The two-tone jersey in the new 'Rider Blitz' lime green and historical Rider green colour has the word 'Saskatchewan' emblazoned across the front.
On Friday morning, #RiderBlitzGreen was one of the top trending hashtags in Canada.
The new jersey has 'I am Rider Nation' inside the collar. Wheat sheaves run across the shoulders and down the arm sleeves. A team shield logo is on the back bottom of the jersey.
Roughrider receiver Rob Bagg models the jersey in photos and a video on the team's website along with other new swag including a helmet, gloves, and pants.
For fans of the first string quarterback, there is a player jersey with Darian Durant's name and number on it.
The jerseys range in price from $44.99 for a toddler-sized jersey to $229.99 for the men's Durant-stamped jersey.
