9-year-old had 'biggest smile ever', mom says
A Regina boy with cancer who was the victim of a bicycle theft earlier this week is all smiles today.
Marcus Haywahe, who is nine years old and is battling a brain tumour, had his bike stolen, but this morning Western Cycle brought him a new one.
"He was pretty happy this morning when he saw that bike come around the corner," said his mother Megan Haywahe.
"He had the biggest smile ever and I'm sure that meant a lot to the people that brought it to him."
Haywahe said she would like to thank all the people who heard the story in the media and reached out to her family.
