Regina Pats lose 2-1 in Game 7, eliminated from WHL playoffs
WHL regular season scoring leader Adam Brooks puts in only goal for Regina
The Regina Pats exceeded a lot of people's expectations in the 2015-16 season, but one third period goal put an end to their impressive playoff run.
The Pats lost 2-1 against the hometown Red Deer Rebels in Game 7 on Tuesday night.
WHL regular season scoring leader Adam Brooks scored Regina's only goal of the night with just 13 seconds remaining in the second period.

In 12 playoff games, Brooks still leads the WHL playoff points race with 23 -- 7 more than Victoria's Jack Walker (13 games).
With the win, Red Deer moves on to the Eastern Conference championship series against the Brandon Wheat Kings. Unfortunately for Regina fans, the hockey season is over following the loss.
The Pats forced Game 7 two nights earlier at home in a convincing 5-1 victory at the Brandt Centre.
