Billy Ninine was last seen in Southend, indicated he may be hitchhiking to La Ronge or Ontario: RCMP
Saskatchewan RCMP are looking for a 53-year-old man who has been missing since August 2024, and who may have hitchhiked to Ontario or La Ronge, Sask.
Billy Ninine was last seen in Southend, in northeastern Saskatchewan, last summer, RCMP said in a Friday news release.
He indicated at the time he might be planning to hitchhike to La Ronge, about 200 kilometres southwest of Southend, or to Ontario, police said, but it's unknown if he did.
He's also known to visit Prince Albert and Saskatoon, according to Saskatchewan RCMP.
RCMP say since he was reported missing this past fall, they have been checking places he is known to visit and following up on information about his potential whereabouts, but are now asking for help to find him.
Ninine is described as five foot 11, with a medium build. He also has scars and old injuries on the top of his head, middle finger and nose.
RCMP are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to contact them at 310-RCMP, or make an anonymous tip on the Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers website or by calling at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
