It's a kind of product that might actually help them manage their care and get information flowing more easily.- Susan Antosh, eHealth Saskatchewan
Susan Antosh, CEO of eHealth Saskatchewan, said it's about increasing access and convenience for those who use the health care system a lot, such as parents of young children, people with chronic diseases and frequent travellers.
"It's a kind of product that might actually help them manage their care and get information flowing more easily," Antosh said.
The system also allows users to share their information with families, doctors and pharmacists.
The focus of eHealth Saskatchewan is to use technology to improve healthcare. It is looking for 1,000 people to take part in the six-month test run.
Participants will be surveyed after the trial period to help decide if it should continue and expand.
