Off Script: Jill Morgan's must-see TV moments from CBC News Saskatchewan
Sometimes the news seems to go by so fast, we barely catch the headlines. Here are a few things on the air (and off!) that caught my eye this week.
Devastating loss
It has been a difficult week for those who knew and loved the five people killed in a crash on Highway 6 near Regina.
As word spread that two of the people killed were well-known in Regina, the depth of how they've impacted our arts community quickly became apparent to anyone who wasn't familiar.
I always admire the strength of friends and family who will take a moment from their grief to share their thoughts with us.
Thanks to those who shared their memories of Lacy Morin-Desjarlais and Michele Sereda.
- Arts community mourns Michael Green, Lacy Morin-Desjarlais, Michele Sereda, Narcisse Blood
- Grief counselling underway at Payepot School where theatre group was headed
Clearly their work will continue on through those who loved them.
Back at the sports desk
This week on CBC News Saskatchewan, Glenn Reid returned to the sports desk — his tanned skin a hint at where he's been. Glenn is always ready with a response, whatever random question I throw at him, sports related or not.

Say it with love
Happy Valentine's Day!
Looking for a gift for the meat lover in your life? Well, as they say over at the Italian Star Deli in Regina, "Nothing says love like a bowl of meat." Dig into this edible flower arrangement! What's the best Valentine's Day gift you've ever received? We have a cards-only policy at our house, but I have to say food is a tasty idea!
