$10K in damages to Regina's new Mosaic Stadium results in charges

A 17-year-old male has been charged for allegedly causing about $10,000 worth of damages to Regina's new Mosaic Stadium, which is still under construction.

A 17-year-old male has been charged in relation to about $10,000 worth of damages to Regina's new Mosaic Stadium, which is still under construction. 

Regina Police were called to the site at about 12:39 p.m. CST on Thursday after receiving information that a person was inside the stadium causing damage. 

He was located and charged with break and enter with intent to commit mischief over $5,000, two counts of assaulting a peace officer, failure to comply with disposition and breach of undertaking. 

The accused made his first court appearance on these charges in Regina Youth Court on Friday. He cannot be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act
