Men fined in Saskatoon for fishing while suspended
Officers spotted them catching fish in June after being suspended in February
Two Saskatoon men are facing more penalties for violating fishing regulations.
The men, 33 and 63, were caught fishing by police this summer after being suspended from buying angling licences in February for using live bait and barbed hooks.

Officers said despite the suspension, the men were again found fishing in June on the North Saskatchewan River near the Laird ferry.
Police saw one man catch a walleye and throw it away in the bush. Officers also found other discarded litter from the two men in the area.
Both pleaded guilty to angling while being suspended and have to each pay more than $1,000 in fines.
The 33-year-old is suspended from buying a angling licence in Saskatchewan for three more years.
The older man was also fined for wasting fish and littering, and can't buy a fishing licence for another year.
