People who have had to leave their homes due to wildfires will still be able to get their mail, Canada Post says.

Canada Post is telling people who live in the wildfire evacuation zones in the north, that a location has been set up to get their mail.

It's all being rerouted to the Crown corporation's Prince Albert depot at 9 Marquis Dr.

Anyone with photo ID, can pick up their mail there or have it sent to a new address, if desired.

Those who can't get to Prince Albert, don't need to worry. The mail will be held and sent to the intended destination as soon as its safe for evacuees to return.
