There are more than 30 unsolved cases of missing and murdered indigenous women in Saskatchewan and about 1,200 in Canada.

But most experts suggest even more incidents go unreported.

Jaqueline Anaquod has been raising awareness about violence against women in her community as part of the Sisters in Spirit movement.

And Anaquod knows firsthand what it's like to be violently assaulted by a man.
