Hang on to your cats, Prince Albert SPCA asks
A Prince Albert, Sask., animal shelter is asking people to hang on to their unwanted and found cats for a while because they're out of kennels.
79 cats are in the animal shelter, leaving kennels in short supply
A Prince Albert, Sask., animal shelter is asking people to hang on to their unwanted and found cats for a while because they're out of kennels.
On its Facebook page, the SPCA in that city says they currently have 79 cats in their care and can't take any more.
"At this point, we cannot accept any more cats," the agency says.
They asking the public to leave a Found Report at 306-763-6110 and hang onto the cat if they can until there's a kennel available.
They say they'll offer supplies to care for the cat in the meantime.
