Gas prices are on a downward slide in some Saskatchewan cities this morning.

In Regina, people can fill up for 99.9 cents per litre at the Regina Cabs and Regina Messenger stations right now. According to Gas Buddy, prices at the pump today have dropped about 10 cents since Oct. 21.

Gas prices have not gone below that psychological $1 barrier in Saskatchewan for about two years.

However, most regular gas stations in Regina are still pricing gasoline between 105.9 and 107.9 cents per litre. On Oct. 21, gas was more than 115 cents per litre.

In Saskatoon, the Costo gas station is flirting with the 99 cent mark, currently at 101.9 cents per litre. Like Regina, the majority of gas stations are about 105.9 to 107.9 cents per litre.

The average price of gas around the country is 114.5 cents per litre.
