Facebook group dedicated to Saskatchewan scenery
A Facebook group dedicated to images of Saskatchewan scenery has attracted over 11,000 members.
Stuart Anderson started the Facebook page, He says the province has plenty of beauty, if you get off the major highways.
"That's [where] the real life of Saskatchewan is, off the beaten path," Anderson said. "Everybody wants to stick to the straight and narrow. Well be a little bit brave, get out and venture around. Do something, take a picture."

Anderson said he was inspired to start the page after hearing disparaging comments about the province's landscape.
"People say, 'Where are you from?' and I say, 'Saskatchewan' and they [say], 'Oh God that boring place. There's absolutely nothing,'" he said. "So it kind of hit a nerve and I thought OK let's see what's out there."
