Evacuees from the Prud'Homme, Sask., natural gas fire have now been allowed back in their homes.
Thirteen people had to leave the area Oct. 11 after fire broke out above a TransGas natural gas storage cavern on the site, about 78 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon.
When a wellhead failed, flames as high as 78 metres shot into the sky.
After a few setbacks, crews were able to snuff out the fire and install a new well head on Friday.
With the fire out, work now continues on repairing the damage and finding out what caused the fire.
No one was injured.
