Richelle Dubois, the mother of 14-year-old Haven Dubois, met with the Regina Police Services to review the investigation into her son's death on Thursday.

The meeting came after Dubois spent three days in front of the Regina Police Station demanding to know more about what happened to her son. Dubois slept inside her van in an effort to pressure police to speak with her.

Haven's body was found in a Regina creek in the east end of the city last spring.

A coroner's report was released this past May indicating that the cause of death was drowning and that he had traces of marijuana in his system.

Police have ruled out foul play, but Dubois still has questions.

In a statement released through the Saskatchewan Coalition Against Racism, Dubois said "Deputy Chief Dean Rae has given us his assurance that the RPS is committed to meeting with us until all of our questions have been answered."

Another meeting is scheduled for February 4.
