Cyclist, 38, dies after being hit by truck on Highway 43

A 38-year-old woman who was cycling on Highway 43 in the Mossbank, Sask., area, died after she was hit by a delivery truck.

Collision happened around 9 a.m. CST Monday

A 38-year-old woman who was cycling on Highway 43 in the Mossbank, Sask., area, died after she was hit by a truck Monday.

In a news release, police from the Assiniboia detachment of the RCMP said the collision was reported to them around 9 a.m. CST and took place roughly three killometres west of Mazenod, Sask., which is about 25 kilometres west of Mossbank.

The woman who died is from Mossbank, police said.

They said their investigation was ongoing. The truck was described as a delivery vehicle, with a lone male driver.
