For the past 13 years, CBC Saskatchewan has recognized hundreds of young Saskatchewanians under the age of 40 who are making a difference in their communities. 

Once again for 2024, we're highlighting the top 10 young people under 40 who have a passion for our province, and are making Saskatchewan a great place to live, work and play. Help us celebrate these shining stars who bring success, innovation, accomplishment and charity to our communities.

We want to share their inspiring stories and discover all of the promise and possibility that the future holds with Saskatchewan's best and brightest young leaders, thinkers, builders and change-makers.

    CBC's Future 40 contest recognizes young people in this province who are working to make this province better. Today on the show we heard from some of these winners and learned about why they do what they do.

    This week on our airwaves we've been celebrating this year's crop of Future 40 winners. These young change-makers are shaking things up in really exciting ways. For Colleen Strauch her commitment to community, connection and reconciliation shapes every aspect of her life: from paid work to volunteer work.... and her life as a Mom. Colleen joins host Shauna Powers.

    Linzi Williamson's research at the University of Saskatchewan revolves around the role of service dogs for veterans who come home with PTSD. Some of those same veterans are her partners in that work. Host Shauna Powers learns more about the lessons they're learned from each other and the trust they've built.
