CBC News Middle East bureau chief, Derek Stoffel, is ready for your questions

Derek Stoffel, Middle East correspondent for CBC News, will make a stop at CBC Saskatchewan on Tuesday morning to answer your questions about the world of international reporting.

Derek Stoffel is the Morning Edition's guest ahead of U of R Minifie Lecture

Derek Stoffel lives in Jerusalem now, but he started his journalism career in Regina, Sask.

The intrepid international reporter was born and raised in the city and graduated from the University of Regina's Journalism program in 1996.

Now, Stoffel serves as CBC News Middle East bureau chief and correspondent. This week, he's back at home to deliver the 35th annual Minifie Lecture at the U of R.

But before he steps up to the podium, he's visiting CBC Saskatchewan for a conversation with Sheila Coles, host of the The Morning Edition.

So, what is life like reporting overseas?

Stoffel plans to take your questions about life as a foreign reporter.

Curious about his career? Tweet us, Sheila Coles or Stoffel himself on Tuesday, October 6 between 6 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. CST during the The Morning Edition. Listen in for his conversation by tuning your radio to 102.5 FM in Regina and 540 AM across the province.

You can also listen live from your smartphone, desktop or mobile device.
