Candlelight vigil planned in Regina to support La Loche, Sask.

A candlelight vigil is planned for Wednesday night in Regina to show support for the community of La Loche, Sask. after a school shooting.

Facebook event shows more than 200 people interested

People in Regina are being invited to light a candle in support of La Loche, Sask., on Wednesday night, and take part in a candlelight vigil. 

Participants are asked to gather at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum parking lot at 6:15 p.m. CST, and walk from there, with candles in hand, to the Legislative Building.

A Facebook page for the event shows more than 200 people are interested in attending. 

According to the page, the event is organized by local teachers in support of the La Loche Community School and community members, and anyone is welcome to participate. 

The walk leaves the museum parking lot at 6:30 p.m CST.
