People are putting on their mittens and pulling out their tents to line up for a traditional fermented drink. Bushwakker Brewpub's holiday mead is going on sale.

The annual release of Bushwakker Brewpub's holiday mead is happening tomorrow morning.

The popular seasonal blackberry brew is released every year on the first Saturday of December, and is a longstanding tradition in Regina.

Head brewer Mitch Dalrymple said he's expecting people to camp out over night outside the pub in anticipation of the beverage's release.

My favourite parts are the people. I can't believe that they line up in some really inclement weather.- Mitch Dalrymple, head brewer.

The weather is expected to be nice for the fermented drink's fans. But Dalrymple said it's never a factor for loyal customers who line up down the street every year.

"My favourite parts are the people. I can't believe that they line up in some really inclement weather," he said.

It's the drink's tradition which has kept the crowds coming. The brew hasn't changed from the original recipe and there are no plans of adjusting it anytime soon.
