A popular Saskatchewan camp site is receiving some upgrades.
The province announced it will spend $350,000 to expand and upgrade the electricity at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park.
Fifty sites in Maple Vale campground will see upgrades to provide safer and more reliable services, the government said.
Another 54 sites in Maple Vale, Elm View and Lakeside will see expanded electrical service, to provide an option for campers to use either 15 or 30 amp electrical. A portion will also have 50 amp electrical to accommodate large RVs and campers.
The project will cost the government about $350,000 to complete. Work will begin this fall and is expected to be complete by next summer.
