Alcohol found at scene of ATV collision that killed man

The RCMP is investigating a fatal offroad vehicle collision that left one man dead near Biggar, Sask.

A man is dead after an offroad vehicle collision Saturday evening near Biggar, Sask. 

The RCMP said it's still investigating the crash, which happened south of Highway 14, at about 7:55 p.m. CT.

Three men, between the ages of 17 and 20, were riding in a four-wheel all-terrain vehicle when it rolled, police said.

One of the vehicle's occupants was killed. Police described him as young, and said he was not driving. The second man remained in the vehicle as it rolled, while the third man was ejected.

None of the men wore helmets, and alcohol containers were found on the scene, police said.

The two men who survived were transported to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. One has been discharged while the other remains in hospital in stable condition. 

Biggar is about 93 kilometres west of Saskatoon.
