Rock legend AC/DC's Saskatchewan fans have waited a long time and now their dreams are coming true.

Concert officials confirmed Wednesday the heavy metal band will play at Mosaic Stadium in Regina on Aug. 24.

Tickets, which can be purchased through Ticketmaster, go on sale on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. CT. They're expected to go fast.

Prices will be $69.50 and $99.50 plus service charges.

The Australian band, known for such hits as Highway to Hell, and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, has been in Saskatchewan before, playing in Saskatoon in the 1990s.

It's never played in Regina before, but for weeks, fans on online forums have been abuzz about a potential concert date in the city.

Mosaic Stadium is the same venue where the Rolling Stones performed twice in 2006.
