This year marks a number of anniversaries for Canadian veterans — 80 years since D-Day, marking the beginning of the end of the Second World War; 10 since the end of the mission in Afghanistan; 60 years of peacekeeping operations in Cyprus; and the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

CBC News will bring you the annual ceremony from Ottawa beginning at 10 a.m. ET, 11 a.m. AT and 11:30 a.m. NT. Here's how you can follow:

Rosemary Barton hosts special coverage live from the National War Memorial in Ottawa, with analysis and historical perspective from Tim Cook, chief historian and director of research at the Canadian War Museum.
