WATCH: P.E.I. immigrant earns national award

A Tyne Valley doctor, who moved to P.E.I. from Zimbabwe 35 years, earned a national award Tuesday for her contribution to the community.

A Tyne Valley doctor, who moved to P.E.I. from Zimbabwe 35 years, earned a national award Tuesday for her contribution to the community.

Dr. Joyce Madigane was named one of the Top 25 Immigrants for 2010.

The award, sponsored by Canadian Immigrant Magazine, recognizes people who made a positive contribution to their communities.
