Two more Prince Edward Islanders stepped forward Friday for a chance to unseat the Conservative MP for Egmont, Gail Shea.

Friday morning Summerside Councillor Tina Mundy joined three others seeking the Liberal nomination for the western P.E.I. riding. Mundy joins Gilles Arsenault, Robert Gallant and Robert Morrissey in wanting the Liberal nomination.

Early in the afternoon, Dr. Herb Dickieson announced he would seek the nomination for the New Democrats. Dickieson is a former provincial party leader and the only NDP member to ever serve in PEI's legislature, representing West Point-Bloomfield from 1996-2000.

The next federal election is scheduled for Oct. 19, 2015.
