A breakaway goal by Mount Herbert's Shannon MacAulay helped the Clarkson University team win the National Collegiate Athletics Association hockey championship Sunday.
With less than five minutes left to play, Macaulay scored the game-winning goal.
The Golden Knights beat the top-ranked University of Minnesota Golden Gophers 5-4 in the final game.
It is the first national championship of any type for Clarkson, which is located in Potsdam, New York.
MacAulay is in her second year at Clarkson.
