Stanhope, P.E.I., broke its daytime high record for Sept. 28 when it reached 25.3 C in the North Shore community Monday.
High temperatures also forecast for Tuesday
Stanhope, P.E.I., broke its daytime high record for Sept. 28 when it reached 25.3 C in the North Shore community Monday.
Most of P.E.I. had highs in the mid-20s, but it felt much hotter with the humidex.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the 18-20 C range Monday night with south-southwest winds from 25-50 km/h, according to CBC meteorologist Jay Scotland.
He said Tuesday will begin with fog and drizzle possible and a slight chance of isolated showers into the early afternoon, then a mix of sun and cloud. Temperatures will once again soar to the 21-25 C range with south-southwest winds gusting from 30-50 km/h.
