Police on P.E.I. are warning motorists to slow down and stop for school buses as kids return to school this week.
RCMP in Queens District, Cornwall and Stratford said they had every available resource on the road Tuesday morning in high volume school bus zones monitoring for illegal activity.
Twenty-two tickets were issued for speeding infractions in school zones in Cornwall and Stratford alone on Tuesday.
Speeding infractions in designated school zones carry double the fine amounts, but the same number of demerit points.
