School enrolment on P.E.I. this year is up more than 350 students over last year.
Preliminary figures from September show enrolment reached 20,043 students, an increase of almost two per cent over a year ago.
Enrolment was up in both the English and French school systems.
The biggest increase was in the Charlottetown Rural family of schools, which includes Charlottetown Rural Senior High School, Donagh Regional School, Glen Stewart Primary School, L. M. Montgomery Elementary School, Sherwood Elementary School, Stonepark Intermediate School and Stratford Elementary School.
Enrolment at Stratford Elementary was up 10 per cent over last year.
