The City of Charlottetown is advising motorists to expect delays now that construction on the roundabout at the Brackley Point Road and Oak Drive intersection has begun.

During construction, traffic will be limited to one way at times, according to the city.

Also, access to either road may be restricted but detour signs will be in place to guide motorists.

Motorists are also advised to seek alternate routes during construction.

Described as a smaller-than-normal "button" roundabout, the project is intended to improve traffic flow and safety. The project cost is estimated at $765,000.
