Ghostman, an Australian shepherd that became a social media phenomenon when he got loose from new owners in Charlottetown, has been found.
Ghostman had only been with his new owners 24 hours when he got loose on Dec. 2. The 11-day search, aided by a community of hundreds on Facebook, finally came to an end Tuesday night with the dog found safe and healthy.
Attracting the dog was difficult, because he had not yet developed a strong bond with his new family.
About 9 p.m.Tuesday Ghostman was caught in a fenced yard off Upper Queen Street.
The owners are overjoyed to have him back, and say he is fitting in at home.
