The Charlottetown Fire Department is looking for new volunteers.
The department is looking for Charlottetown residents who are enthusiastic, physically fit, self-motivated and team players.Firefighters in Charlottetown typically log 125 hours a year.
They are asked to commit to responding to 80 per cent of calls.
No experience is required, and training will be provided free of charge.
Interested volunteers can drop by the main fire station on Kent Street to pick up an application or download one.
The department is also holding an open house on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
