The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (IRAC) is inviting submissions to help decide what the allowable rent increase for next year will be.

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (IRAC) is inviting submissions to help decide what the allowable rent increase for next year will be.

Presentations must be received in writing by Friday, Aug. 14.

Every year, IRAC sets the maximum increase landlords are allowed to increase their tenants' rent.

Last year, the limit was one per cent unheated units, and 1.75 per cent for heated premises.
