P.E.I. golfer Lorie Kane contributes to top 10 team finish at Pan Am Games

P.E.I.'s Lorie Kane helped lead Canada's mixed golf team to an eighth place finish at the Pan Am Games.

In the mixed event, the best 18-hole scores in a given round from both a male and female player from a team were used.

Kane was the only female golfer representing Team Canada at the Pan Am Games, so all of her scores were used to calculate Team Canada's scores, while most teams were composed of two males and two females.

Kane posted scores of 79, 83, 75 and 74.

On the women's individual side, Kane's scores were good enough for a tie for 19th place.
