31-year-old Charlottetown man charged with 'driving at a speed greater than reasonable and prudent'
Video of an out-of-control P.E.I. driver has been creating quite a stir on social media over the past 24 hours.
A driver with a dashcam caught footage Monday morning at an intersection on the Charlottetown bypass and posted it on YouTube with the title "Crazy PEI Driver."
In the video, the car goes out of control, eventually losing a wheel.
Charlottetown Police Sgt. Shane Carr says they received a call about the incident at 10:30 a.m.
The 31-year-old city driver was charged at the scene with "driving at a speed greater than reasonable and prudent," says Carr.
And now that they've seen this video, Carr says more charges are likely under the Highway Traffic Act and the Criminal Code.
No one was hurt.
