Marc Campbell wins the 56th annual Gold Cup and Saucer race
Take It Back Terry beat out Atta Boy Dan and Lucan Hanover to win top prize
After a stormy afternoon on P.E.I. forced the cancellation of the 56th annual Gold Cup and Saucer, the rescheduled race Sunday afternoon saw an Islander take home the top prize.
Charlottetown's Marc Campbell and Take It Back Terry were named the winners of the race held at the Red Shores Racetrack.
Take It Back Terry took the top spot with a time of 150.4, while Atta Boy Dan and Lucan Hanover came in second and third.
This is Campbell's second Gold Cup and Saucer win. He also won back in 2013.
