A winter storm Sunday and Monday prompted another complete closure of the Confederation Bridge. The closure went into effect at 5 p.m Sunday night.

LeGresley, who is from Miramichi but now lives in Charlottetown, found himself stranded at the Tim Hortons/Esso in Borden-Carleton.

He was coming back to the Island from a tournament in Truro. His car was one of the last to cross the bridge before it closed, but the roads were not passable when he arrived on P.E.I.

LeGresley's vehicle got stuck and he was forced to seek shelter at the Esso station.

"I made a little bed on the floor here and the people here have been quite kind to me actually,"said Legresley.

"It's not a memory foam bed by any means. I think I've seen maybe two people come in here since I've been in here last night and they have both been plow drivers. So, I mean, no one is out."

Legresley said he has been in bad storms before, but never one that brought things to such a standstill.

He said a trucker was stuck as well, but stayed in his vehicle all night and another couple found shelter at a nearby motel.
