Island businessman Cory Gray and family buy Fox Meadow Golf Course
Gray says little will change at Stratford course
The Fox Meadow Golf Course in Stratford, P.E.I., has a new owner.
Island businessman Cory Gray, his father, and brother took over ownership Monday.
Gray, the new course president, and his family partners live within a kilometre of the course, and all have played there. The previous owners asked if they'd be interested in buying the business.
No big changes
Gray said it took a little time to warm up to the idea, but they love the property and want to see it continue. He said no big changes are planned to the course or the staff.
I'm excited to announce my family is the new owner of @foxmeadowgolf . As Stratford residents, we've always loved this course. @Dwgray41

"We need to learn the business a little bit and hopefully we can bring something to the course that will only improve it," he said.
The 18-hole course includes a driving range and clubhouse restaurant, and bills itself as the province's "premiere golf-teaching facility."
