Celebrate all things music with CBC at ECMA 2019. This year's event is taking place in Charlottetown from May 1 - 5. There's lots to do, see and hear throughout the week and CBC will be there to be part of the action.
Thursday, May 2
Island Morning, live from Receiver Coffee (Richmond St.)
6 a.m. - 8:37 a.m.
Host Mitch Cormier and the Island Morning team kick off ECMA 2019 with a lively show from Receiver Coffee featuring Logan Richard and electronic musician 'Lonely Kid' Mark Skinner. Join us in person or listen on CBC Radio One. Free admission.
Friday, May 3
Mainstreet live from St. Paul's Church
4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
CBC Mainstreet welcomes some of the finest East Coast musicians to the stage for this special Mainstreet show, broadcasting live to the entire Atlantic region. CBC Mainstreet P.E.I. host Matt Rainnie has a stellar musical lineup featuring The Once, Old Man Luedecke, Adyn Townes and Meaghan Blanchard. Join us in person or tune in to CBC Radio One to hear the show. First come, first seated. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Free admission.

Weekend Mornings live from St. Paul's Church

Weekend Mornings with Bill Roach is hitting the road for a special ECMA show, live from St. Paul's Church. Special musical guests Keith Mullins, Owen Lee, Rosemary Lawton and Nick Earle will bring you tunes and entertaining stories to start your Saturday off right. Join us in person or tune in to CBC Radio One. First come, first seated. Doors open at 5:45 a.m. Free admission.

East Coast Music Hour - special ECMA show

It's a musical tour of this year's ECMA host city with Bill Roach and special guest and tour guide, Tara MacLean. She takes us to some of Charlottetown's most iconic music venues as we meet up with a few guests along the way including Meaghan Blanchard, Catherine MacLellan, Tim Chaisson and Lennie Gallant. And, to top it off, we'll drop in on the Mi'kmaq Legends as they do a special performance. Listen on CBC Music or CBC Radio One.
