People can submit any projects they'd like to propose or comments about how they'd like to see money spent. Coun. Melissa Hilton, chair of finance, audit and tendering, said the city decided to reach out to the public again after last year's success.

"No idea is a bad idea and it's just, where can we spend the little bit of money we can spend," said Hilton.

"It's nice to see where people need, need and want, to see work done and sometimes it can be done within our operational budget and sometimes it can be done within our capital budget."

People can submit comments in a number of ways including at city hall, by phone or through social media.

The deadline is noon, Jan. 29.
