An employee of Charlottetown Airport was injured earlier this month when a baggage cart was blown into a window by a jet engine.

Transport Canada issued a report Monday on the Dec.15 accident.

The report says an Air Georgian jet was moving to be de-iced when the blast of air from its exhaust hit a baggage cart.

That cart was not secured and it was blown into the window of an administrative office at the airport.

One employee of the airport authority was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Charlottetown Airport CEO Doug Newson said Air Georgian and the airport are both conducting investigations.

He called it a "freak incident," saying he's never heard of something like that happening before.

Air Georgian, meanwhile, said there was no wrongdoing on the part of its pilot.
