Anne musical web series explains revamp

The Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown has launched a new behind-the-scenes web series about the changes to the Anne of Green Gables musical.

The web series will include four videos over four months on YouTube.

Last December, the Confederation Centre announced changes to the musical's concept and look, and the addition of new scenes.

"It's important for people to understand what they are going to experience when they walk into the theatre on opening night for Anne of Green Gables: The Musical," said Penny Walsh McGuire, director of sales with the Centre. "And as we're going through the process, why not share it with them?"

The first video, which was posted in the middle of April, has more than 400 views so far.

The next video will be posted in the second week of May.

The new Anne of Green Gables show will open June 28.
