'This is Ottawa' is looking for “Neighbourhood Ambassadors” to give host Robyn Bresnahan a tour of the spots that make their corner of Ottawa shine.

Think you know your neighbourhood? We want to hear your community’s 'hidden gems'

If you consider yourself an expert in the unique, obscure, fantastic-yet-underrated points of interest in your neighbourhood, the CBC podcast, This is Ottawa, wants to hear from you.

The podcast is searching for 'hidden gems' inside the urban, rural, and suburban areas all over this city, and it needs "Neighbourhood Ambassadors" to be the guides.

This is an opportunity to help This is Ottawa host, Robyn Bresnahan unearth little-known activities, attractions and experiences in our community.

This might be you — or someone you know.

This season, community members helped Robyn uncover why a road in south Ottawa is named after Thad Johnson. She discovered what it's like to live above a football stadium. And she revealed what 'LARPers' do in the episode on finding love

What's your neighbourhood's hidden gem?

Unsure what fits into the boundaries of your neighbourhood? This is Ottawa is using the Ottawa Neighbourhood Study map to determine the boundaries.

Nominations for "Neighbourhood Ambassadors" can be sent to: ThisIsOttawa@CBC.ca with NEIGHBOURHOOD AMBASSADOR in the subject line. Please note the podcast is not looking to promote businesses.
